WE ARE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS!
SEE WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE IN MISSION AT TIMBERLAKE

Reaching our community and world with the love of Jesus

Reaching our community and world with the love of Jesus

At Timberlake, mission is more than something we support. It is part of who we are. We believe God calls us to reach beyond the walls of the church, meet practical and spiritual needs, and release people to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Through local ministries, community partnerships, and global relationships, we are working to feed the hungry, care for vulnerable children, support veterans, respond to disasters, and share the hope of Jesus throughout the world.

Our Five Mission Pillars

Feeding

Feeding

We help address hunger and food insecurity by providing meals, groceries, and essential resources to individuals and families in our community and beyond.

Veterans

Veterans

We honor and support veterans by partnering with ministries that provide encouragement, community, practical assistance, and opportunities for healing.

Children

Children

We invest in the well-being and future of children by helping provide food, clothing, care, safe environments, and opportunities to experience the love of Jesus.

Global

We build relationships with missionaries and ministry partners who share the gospel, strengthen local churches, and serve communities around the world.

Disaster Relief

Disaster Relief

We prepare for and respond to natural disasters by collecting supplies, assembling relief resources, supporting trusted organizations, and sending volunteers when opportunities arise.

How We Serve

Our missions are organized into three categories that help explain how Timberlake participates in God’s work locally and globally.

Partner Missions

These are established organizations we support through ongoing relationships, financial investment, promotion, and volunteer involvement.

Interfaith Outreach

Interfaith Outreach

Interfaith Outreach Association (IOA) exists to step in during those moments and assist with helping our neighbors in need to navigate during their tough times. They provide programs that give education, guidance, and support, to identify ways out or ways up. They work with individuals and families to assess their needs and connect them with the many resources in our community that can empower them to improve their situation. For more information, contact IOA at 434.846.6098.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels

Timberlake is one of the wheels behind the meal as a partner with Lynchburg Meals on Wheels. Our volunteers take care of a route at a city apartment complex. The ministry provides balanced, nutritious and hot lunch meals for the frail elderly and younger disabled shut-ins who cannot cook for themselves and may be unable to leave their homes for meals. What a blessing to the drivers and to their neighbors! Contact us if you are interested in serving!

Global Missions

These are international partnerships that help share the gospel and serve people beyond our immediate community.

London

London

Timberlake is currently in the beginning of its relationship with the London Project

Honduras

Honduras

Timberlake supports Ryan Hansen, who is based in Honduras. It’s his desire to help train pastors and lay leaders with little resources, to disciple and to mobilize the local church to do the work of evangelism in Honduras and all over Central America.

Central Asia

Central Asia

Timberlake partners with missionaries serving around the world to help share the hope of the Gospel and strengthen the global Church.

We support a ministry dedicated to training pastors and lay leaders, equipping local churches with biblical resources, and mobilizing believers for evangelism throughout Honduras and Central America.

We also financially support a missionary serving in Central Asia. Due to the persecution of Christians in that region, we cannot share their name or exact location. Through faithful ministry and everyday relationships, they are making a lasting Gospel impact while serving alongside the local community.
