Giving
WANT TO GIVE ONLINE?
Thank you for your generosity.
We give to God because all we have is from God, and we are merely stewards or caretakers of what God has given us. What we give is in the lifeblood of the ministry we do as a church. Thank you for supporting the ministry we do in Christ's name at Timberlake.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. - 1 Chronicles 29:14

Questions about your giving?
If you have questions about your giving, please contact our Financial Secretary, Robin Doss.
Dear Timberlake Family,
We are having a great year of serving God in ministry and mission. God is bringing more and more people to Timberlake, including 70 people who joined as members. From Sunday worship to Together Nights and Life Groups to feeding children, teens, and adults physically and spiritually, and much more, our church is thriving. We see God at work through your generosity in sharing your love for God with your gifts, talents, time, and finances.
As we prepare for next year, we ask you to pray about your financial commitment for the coming year. What is God calling you to set aside as a financial commitment for 2023? Knowing that helps us plan how we can Reach, Feed, and Release people to be the hands and feet of Jesus in 2023.
While we stand at a crossroads of deciding whether to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church, we know for sure that we will continue to be, and always be, Timberlake church. We will stand firm in our commitment to totally focus on Jesus Christ and His will for Timberlake. We can’t wait to see His plans unfold as we move into 2023 and beyond.
Attached is a commitment chart showing income levels and a range of percentage giving for you to think about, pray over, and discuss with people you trust. Then please use the commitment card to indicate your financial commitment to God and to Timberlake in 2023.
As a tangible symbol of your financial commitment to God, bring your commitment card to the altar during a special time in our October 30th service. Or you can mail your card to the church (by October 25th, please) or complete it on the church website: timberlakeumc.org/giving/. We are grateful for you and what you give.
While we may live in uncertain times, we can be encouraged by the words of Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Thank you for your generosity and for being the hands and feet of Jesus!
