Grow in Faith. Go Deeper in Truth.

Teaching Classes

Discipleship is more than learning about Jesus — it’s learning to live like Him. At Timberlake, we want to equip you to grow stronger in your faith and more confident in your walk with God. Our new Foundations Classes and Deep Dive Classes are designed to help you do just that — building a solid spiritual foundation and guiding you toward deeper biblical understanding and spiritual maturity.

Each class typically meets weekly over a 5–6 week period, providing focused time to learn, discuss, and apply what you’re discovering in community with others.

Foundations

Classes

Build a Strong Faith.

Our Foundations Classes are designed to help you establish a solid base in your relationship with God. You’ll explore the essentials of the Christian faith — who Jesus is, why Scripture matters, how to pray, and what it means to live as part of the Church. Whether you’re new to faith or looking to strengthen your roots, these classes will help you grow in confidence and clarity as a follower of Jesus.

WHO IS JESUS

Sundays | 11:15am | Hughes Hall

5 weeks | Starts October 26th

taught by Pastor Jesse

Our first Foundations Class, “Who Is Jesus?”, will take a closer look at the person and work of Christ — what the Old Testament reveals about Him, what Jesus said about Himself, the meaning of His divinity, and what His divine work accomplished for us. This class pairs perfectly with our current sermon series, offering a deeper opportunity to understand and experience who Jesus truly is.

Week one: The Historical Evidence for Jesus
Week two: Jesus in the Old Testament
Week three: Jesus’ claims in the Gospels
Week four: The Deity of Jesus
Week five: The Key Works of Jesus

Deep Dive

Classes

Go Beyond the Basics.

Our Deep Dive Classes invite you to dig deeper into God’s Word and the life of discipleship. These sessions explore rich theological topics, spiritual disciplines, and real-life application of biblical truth. They’re designed for those ready to wrestle with big questions, discover new perspectives, and take the next step in their spiritual growth.
