ADVENT SERMON SERIES

THE GIFT OF FORGIVENESS

The Christmas countdown has begun.  Some of you have been counting down for months!  We love to get ready with trees and candles and carols, and presents.  This is our season of Advent, which means “coming,” because this is the time we get ready for the coming of our Savior.  And as wonderful as all the preparations and celebrations are, let’s remember that the good news of Christmas is God’s gift of forgiveness through Jesus Christ.  Join us at Timberlake this year as we talk about the forgiveness we have received in him, which we now also extend to others.

CHRISTMAS EVE MIRACLE OFFERING

THE MISSIONS OF TIMBERLAKE

Each year we commit as a church to collect a generous offering on Christmas Eve that will go towards a specific mission of our church. In the past we have contributed to our feeding mission, to Puerto Rico hurricane relief, to community COVID financial relief, and various others.  This year we are excited to once again collect an offering for all of our mission needs, not just to one singular mission.

Please bring your financial gift on Christmas Eve, December 24th, to any of our four worship services (9 AM, 11 AM, 5PM, 11 PM) and let’s see what God will do with our collective offering of sacrifice!

OTHER MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

Here are some opportunities for you to give back this season!

CHRISTMAS

BLESSINGS

Thru December 10

The mission of 'Christmas Blessings' was spurred out of the desire to provide Christmas for children that are in need. We know there are many children in our community who are food insecure every week. The opportunity to bless these children and their families with gifts for Christmas is not something we take lightly as a church! This mission has become a beautiful way to extend the love of Jesus and the season's excitement to the families in our community who may not have much to celebrate.

TOY

DRIVE

Now Collecting Toy Donations!

We are collecting new or gently used toys for our neighbors at The Fillin' Station.  Please bring toys December 9 - December 12 (no later than 5 PM on Dec. 12) to the Children's Welcome Area (label it "Toy Drive"), or give to Tara Scruggs.  Reach out to Tara Scruggs for more details, at 571.218.0642.
